We are proud to be a part of the Cancer Screening & Prevention Day at the CAMC Cancer Center (3415 MacCorkle Ave. SE, Charleston, WV 25304) next Saturday, March 11, from at 8 a.m. to Noon.

 BLOOD WORK (minimal fees; ages 18 and older) 

Fasting and pre-registration required (call by March 10 to register) 

Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA): $22                 

Comprehensive Metabolic & Lipid Panel (CMP): $20

CBC: $6

Hemoglobin A1c: $6

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH): $20

SCREENING MAMMOGRAMS at the CAMC Breast Center (annual screening; your insurance will be billed) 

FREE SCREENINGS (walk-ins welcome; no registration required for these screenings) 

Lung cancer risk assessment (ages 50-77)

Anyone meeting the criteria for a low dose computed tomography (CT) scan will be given information on obtaining an order for the test to be scheduled on another day.

Colorectal screening for colon cancer (ages 50+)

In-home collection kit to detect hidden blood in the stool, which can be an early sign of cancer.
