CAMC Cancer Center Celebrates One Year Anniversary

The CAMC Cancer Center is celebrating being opened one year and Charleston Area Medical Center wrote an article about the anniversary. 

Last May, the Charleston community came together to celebrate the opening of the new 110,000-square-foot facility that was over a decade in the making. 

CAMC Radiation Oncology Services moved into the Cancer Center in October 2015 and Tamara Fuller, Site Administrator for CAMC Radiation Oncology Services, was quoted in the article as saying, ““A lot of people think when they need radiation treatments, it’s better to go to one of the larger cancer treatment centers out-of-state, but we have the most advanced equipment and radiation specialists right here so patients never need to worry about compromising their level of care for the convenience of staying close to home.” 

Congratulations to the CAMC Cancer Center on their one year anniversary!
